My current body of work includes large-scale depictions of castles, using black and gray latex paint on 55" by 60" sheets of Mylar. Castles have been a wonderfully ambiguous subject for these paintings: architectural creations, but almost like features of the landscape; comprising a historical record, but also a large part of our collective imagination.
